Ms Ellery Turns 2!!!!

I feel like it wasn't all that long ago I was posting about Landen turning one.. and now my precious princess, Ms. Ellery.. is turning TWO!!! Time needs to SLOW DOWN and my precious babies need to QUIT GROWING so fast!!!

Ms Ellery is such a little spit fire.. she's so much fun these days!! She LOVES to skype and face time with me..and I soak up every single second I get with those babies!!! I miss them.. and SO WISH they lived closer!

Anyhow.. Ms Ellery was born 2 years ago today!! I was staying with Mr Creighton and SO anxious to get the call that she was born and she was healthy!

Mommy was VERY ready!

She stole my heart from the beginning... And notice the outfit she chose for herself. :-) "My auntie is awesome" OF COURSE referring to this awesome Auntie! Ha!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Valentine's Day

I know not everyone is a huge fan of Valentine's Day but Tim and I have decided to make it a day we spend together. We try really hard to really make each other feel special and loved EVERY day- but it's fun to have an excuse for some extra love. Here is our day..in my usual form.. pictures of course!

Tim had to work early in the morning so he was already gone when I woke up... This is what was sitting outside of our bedroom door when I woke up.

Ok.. so a couple of things about this- you may notice this is written on an "October" pad of paper because I still have not put that one away and gotten the other months out. I have one for every month.. just in case someone was wondering. :-)

I call this "Better Than Sex" cake... it has other names I'm sure.
We decided not to go out to eat so I made Tim's favorite meal...

"Surf and Turf"... Steak, Shrimp, Sauteed Mushrooms, and Cheesy Hash browns!!!

Layers of amazingness...
The finished products....

I couldn't get a better picture... it was DELICIOUS!

So yummy!!!
Excuse my no make-up/crazy hair pictures. :-) This is my blog, after all.

He went to KAYS!!
I look like my mom in this picture below!!!

 He did a great job...

And then it was Tim's turn... I don't have many pictures of what I made him- it was a home-made "coupon" book. Home-made isn't always so bad- he loved it! :-)
My husband is so hot!
The craziest thing is I didn't even take a picture of us together for our first married Valentine's Day... So instead here is one my favorite first married pictures on our way to our honeymoon!!!

I hope you all had your own special Valentine's Day.. however you celebrated! Remember to love each other the way you should EVERY DAY...!!!

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails ...
